Two Sycorax (male and female) escaped the explosion in Christmas Invasion via escape pod. They landed in Elizabethan England. Through a whole chick flick of a story, the male Sycorax decided to stay behind and follow his true passion- acting. The female Sycroax, angered, somehow managed to get back to the Sycorax planet and said "My mate decided to leave in favor of these stunted apes, and it is all the Doctor's fault! I demand revenge!" The Sycorax agreed, and that's how they ended up in the Alliance. Eh? Eh? Okay, I admit it. Lame. How’s this for a theory?
